Burundian products sold best at JAMFEST

Burundian made products like clothes, bags, designer shoes that were worn by Africans in Stone Age attracted many buyers at the just concluded JAMAFEST cultural festival.

Among the five stands of Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania, Burundi stands received huge numbers of customers. Favourite Burundi items included traditional stone age attire.

“I have always admired cloths made out of hides and skin,and the Burundi stand gave me the chance to see and also purchase them,” said Patrick Bizimana,a Rwandan customer.

“People got excited because of the ancient products we provided since they are never available in shops,”said Anatholi Uwitonze, Burundian exhibitor.

The Burundian stand had products like drums, shoes, bags , ranging from 1000-25000 Rwf .
