Mc Tino apologizes to Dream Boyz, his pleas fall on deaf ears

MC Tino (pictured above) has come out to publicly apologize to the Dream Boyz crew soon after the former suggested they did not deserve to be in the final eleven of Primus Guma Guma Super Star season 3. The crew was nominated alongside ten other contestants to battle it out for the coveted prize of 24 million Rwf in the reality TV show, but MC Tino, a radio presenter and musician, invited their wrath when he said the only reason Dream Boyz were among the contestants was because they were riding on their past glory as opposed to their present achievements.


Well, he got the timing all wrong. The crew hit back immediately, accusing Tino of biased views that could greatly cost them, given that Tino will be the MC during the road shows that will kick off in May. The renowned MC went ahead and picked his favorite among the nominees by suggesting that according to him, Urban Boyz were better placed to win the competition.

Although he later apologized for his remarks, the Dream Boyz would not hear a word of it. Platini, one of the members of the crew retorted, “The damage has already been done. How can he even think of uttering such words? It’s disrespectful both to his career and ours. I cannot easily forgive him because he will be the MC at the same road shows that we will be participating in, so what will the people think?”


Even though Tino has issued a public apology on several occasions, many pundits have refused to buy it and the war of words between the two pairs has refused to settle down. tried to contact both parties for their comments but our calls went unanswered on several occasions.
