Mico The Best has told the press he’s ready to face a tough challenge in Primus Guma Guma Super Star, but the star believes he has a ninety percent chance of winning it. Mico, who was nominated amid widespread claims of bribery, feels he’s the right candidate to win the reality TV show. Speaking to tukabyine.com, he expressed h desire and thirst to come out victorious come July.
He said, “I am the best out of the other ten. If I am given a chance I will prove it. This year’s edition saw a total of eleven contestants make it into the preliminary round as opposed to the previous editions that only hosted ten candidates, a factor that prompted many people to allege there was some form of impropriety and bribery involved. But Mico has vehemently denied those allegations, sticking to his stance that he was nominated on pure merit.
He added, “If someone makes it this far, there will always be people talking about this and that, but let me tell you I have worked hard to be where I am today. I don’t know why it’s always about me only whenever the issue (of bribery) surfaces. Meanwhile Mico was unable to attend the third road show in Nyanza, Southern Province due to an illness, but he will be available when the caravan heads to Karongi, Western Povince on 1st June 2013.
