P-Fla joins Ibisumizi label

Rapper P-Fla has joined Ibisumizi label on a contract that is yet to be made public. The controversial and volatile musician has not been contract-bound at any label of late, and the latest developments come as a surprise not to a few. Ibisumizi’s strong waves seem to be sweeping swiftly across the Rwandan music industry and it’s easy to understand why.

Set up by rapper Riderman last year, the label has attracted a variety of talents across the city and only recently afro beat kingpin Kamichi was deliberating to join the house. P-Fla takes with him an enormous and rich music background. He has been on the charts since time immemorial and many pundits have always argued that he deserves to win an award or better still be nominated next time in the reality TV show, Primus Guma Guma Super Star.

Although his personal life has greatly overshadowed his professional side, not many would label him as “unfavorite”. Deejay Adams, a radio presenter at City FM, once described him as the “yeast that makes the bread whole” probably due to his eccentric lifestyle.
