Famous female judge at Tusker Project Fame Juliana Kanyomoozi is to step down from the seat she has occupied for the five seasons of the competition, according to widespread reports. Juliana, also a musician from Uganda, will be replaced by her fellow countryman “Ghetto President”, Bobi Wine. The Say It star has overseen a total of five seasons of the talent searching competition, plus one Tusker All Stars which was won by the trio Msechu, David and Alpha from Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda respectively.

Bobi Wine brings with him a vast experience in music industry, having risen through the ranks as a struggler to be where he is today. Born on 12 February 1982 in Mpigi District South West of Kampala District, Bobi was baptized Robert Kyagulanyi in the Roman Catholic Church. He went to Makerere University in Kampala. He started making music in the early 2000s. He currently heads the Fire base crew.

Season six of Tusker Project Fame is said to kick off early September, while auditions in all six East African Countries have begun. In Rwanda, eight candidates have already been pre-selected, but only three will make it to the finals due to be held in the Kenyan capital Nairobi.
