Three Rwandan artists have been approved by a three-judge bench at this year’s edition of Tusker Project Fame season six (TPF6). Patrick Nyamitali, Peace Jolis and Fiona have all been given the nod to contest with other twenty two participants from the region.
Both Peace and Nyamitali have all ventured in music careers before, with the former having collaborated with Alpha Rwirangira, winner of TPF3 in a song. Patrick Nyamitali has had a long music career. He began as a gospel singer before turning to secular later on.
Tusker Project Fame is a talent searching singing competition that seeks to help young talent to become famous. Six countries including Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi and South Sudan, all have their representatives in the Kenyan capital Nairobi, battling out for the coveted prize of five million Kenyan shillings.
