Burundian Band receives poor audience turn up

guitar__drums__and_bassMoutcho band from Burundi has decried poor turn up at their Friday concert at the Manor Hotel.

The event organizer Alida Baranyizigiye said she was thrilled by the performance but disappointed with the turn up.

“The show was really good with amazing performances; however it beats my understanding why Rwandans don’t appreciate such events,” S\said a disappointed Baranyizigiye.

Fans as well hailed the great performance. The show was scheduled at 7:30pm last Friday.

The performances had a blend of Jazz and Blues with tunes such as Autumn Leaves, summertime, their own tracks Haramahoro and Gallileo, among others.

The stage and sound was wonderful. The show ended at 10:30pm.

Moutcho Band is a Burundian group composed of Yvan Kwizera (bass), Amadi Nkurikiye (drums) and Arnaud Nganji (guitar) all of whom comprise a team that leaves the stage shaking.
