Singer Queen Cha eyes regional music audience

Local upcoming Afro beat singer Queen Cha vows to boost her music career and expands it in the region by featuring regional music icons.

The diva plans to collaborate with regional artistes and record songs in widely used languages in East Africa like English and Kishwahili to win the audience.

The Umwe Rukumbi disclosed the information to on Friday while shooting her upcoming new video.

“Collaborating musically with regional artistes will expand my music across the region,” says Queen Cha.

Cha added that, music needs an innovative mind and devoted time.

Queen Cha hails from Ibisumizi record label which is owned by rapper Riderman and boasts of songs like Umwe Rukumbi and Icyaha Ndacyemera.

Queen Cha tasted the lime light in 2012 when her hit single Umwe Rukumbi rocked many Kigali night spots.

The singer started music career way back in 2010 with the support of her cousin singer Safi of Urban Boyz, and later rapper Raiderman signed her in Ibisumizi studio.
