Afro pop singer Diane Teta vowed to expand her music in the region by collaborating with East African music icons this year to have a bigger audience.

The Canga Ikarita hit maker plans to win East African music audience by recording songs in various languages like English, Kishwahili to sell in countries like Kenya and Uganda.

The songstress disclosed the information to Rwandashow.com while rehearsing for her routine Friday performances with Gakondo group at hotel Mille Collins.

“Am recording songs in languages used in the EAC region to promote my music outside Rwanda,” said singer Teta.

She added that, Teta music management team is working hard to secure collabos with East African music heavyweights to boost her music.

Teta started singing way back in 2010 as a backup singer for many local cultural troupes and artistes.

Teta tasted the lime light in 2013 when she featured in a hit song dubbed Fata Fata and backing up legendary singer Cecile Kayirebwa sparked her music skills.
