Upcoming singer Teta Diana

Afro pop upcoming singer Diana Teta refuted reports that she was suspended from Gakondo group for misbehaving.

This comes following news that singer Teta Diana was given a one month suspension for missing out on performances with no strong reasons.

The Kata hit maker dismissed the rumors and assured Rwandese that she is still a member of Gakondo group and there is nothing like a suspension.

“Am still working with Gakondo and I haven’t received any suspension letter or call from the management,” says Teta Diane.

Despite claiming to be in good terms with Gakondo group, people close to Gakondo group say that she is on suspension which is why she did not perform on Friday at Mille Collins Hotel.

Gakondo group is a music troupe composed of singers Teta, Jules Sentore and is headed by celebrated cultural singer Intore Masamba.

Rwandashow tried to speak to Masamba but he couldn’t answer the phone to shade more light on the issue.

It is rumored that ever since Teta tasted lime light early in 2013, she started behaving in a bad way by dodging work for her private shows as well as partying every day.

Teta started singing way back in 2010 as a backup singer for many local cultural troupes and artists.

If it’s true, then music fans and the music industry could be on the verge of losing one of the talented musicians seduced by little money and fame.

She tasted lime light in 2013 when she featured in a hit song dubbed Fata Fata and boasts of songs like Canga Inkarita and others.
