Burundian musician Big Farious has played down reports saying he turned down offers from Rwandan artists to feature in their music tracks. He said he would never look down upon anyone.
The celebrity has been having a relatively enjoyable stay in the country after featuring at a party dubbed Burundi Night, and has also featured Rwanda’s Social Mula in a collabo track.
But after it was reported that Farious had turned down a few requests to feature in their songs, the latter refuted the claims, saying working with any foreign artist would be an advantage for him.
He told the media, “I wouldn’t refuse to collaborate with anyone, be it an underground musician or a star.”
The immediate partnership between Big Farious and Social was reason for concern among a few Rwandan musicians, who saw it as deadly and lethal.
Social is currently under the stewardship of famous music manager Alex Muyoboke, thus his alliance with Farious, according to them, would quickly enhance his rise and maraud him into the upper echelon of famous musicians.
