Whereas some artists are busy throwing bouts of words at each other, former Primus Guma Guma Super Star contestant Christopher has come out to heap verbal praise on his counterpart Bruce Melodie.
According to the RnB singer, Melodie is one of the most talented musicians in the country.
Indeed his declaration will come as a surprise to many who are used to endless “beefs” amongst Rwandan artists. Recently Mico The Best launched a savage attack on Uncle Austin saying the latter’s music did not fall in afro beat category which he claims to belong to.
It’s not just the Mico and Austin beef that made headlines. The hip hop fraternity has seen its share of endless war of words as well with artists such as Ama G The Black and Riderman locking horns on more than one occasion.
But according to Christopher such battles are unnecessary. He said, “Look, I think Bruce Melodie is one of the best artists this country has ever seen. Even when you look at how the voting is going on at Salax Awards, he is far ahead of me, so how can I deny that he’s among the best? I respect him very much.”
Meanwhile Christopher revealed preparations have reached at an advanced stage ahead of his album launch slated for 15th February at Kigali Serena Hotel.
