Rwanda is set to host 8th edition of Pan-Africa Dance Festival event early this year, an event that will be attended by over 48 countries.
The event is slated for 23rd February, 2013, as Rwanda Development Board,the chief organizers highlighted.
While addressing the press, Rica Rwigamba, RDB Spokesperson explained more about FESPAD preparations.
“Rwanda invited forty countries but only five countries have confirmed to participate and we believe others will also respond positively to our invitations,” said Rwigamba.
The festival will last for a week and each invited country will send in 10 people, according to reservations.
FESPAD is one of the events that attract crowds especially the youth.
Countries that have confirmed participation include Burundi, Niger, Madagascar, Liberia and Tanzania.
The new innovation in 8th edition includes shows in provinces, RDB invited different music moguls from East African region to grace the event.
