Rwandan made movie dubbed Ubu n’ Ejo which was recently premiered in Rubavu features a big number of musicians in its scenes.
The movie which was produced by Nelson Wilson is aimed at showing the youth how to deal with present challenges with hope for a better feature.
“We have started showing the 1st trail in Rubavu and soon we will move across all districts in order to promote it as well as receiving public opinions about the movie,” says producer Nelson.
He added that the movie is basically meant for the youth and most of the roles are played by young musicians. This was done in hope that it will attract the public.
The movie will have 12 episodes as disclosed by its director Sadi Rukundo.
It is also estimated that opinions raised by the public will be used to develop other episodes and correcting some errors that might be in the first episode.
The 1st episode lasts for only 60 minutes and features different artists like Naason playing a guitar for his girlfriend and Jack B.
Various musicians will feature in the next episodes coming soon including Allion, Queen Cha, Sacha and Jay Polly
Ubu N’ Ejo movie which can be loosely translated as ‘Now and the future’ was shot in local area codes including New Nyarugenge market and SFB campus.
