After fifteen years in music industry, Afrobeat singer Eric Senderi aka international hit has been nominated for the 5th coming Salax Awards in Afrobeat category.
This is the first time ever for the singer to be nominated in any music awarding competition although he has been making music for 15 years.
Senderi shared his happiness of being nominated among the top five Afrobeat musicians to compete for Salax Awards 2013 with Rwandashow.com.
“Am a new born in Salax Awards competition but 15 years old in music industry and am very happy for being recognized musically after all these years” says Senderi.
He added that am not afraid to compete with big stars like Kamichi and King James in Afrobeat category because am not easy.
The Kaachi Kaachi star also urged Rwandan music fraternity that all those artists who are quitting from the competition have been scooping various awards, so they don’t mind even if they leave the competition.
Singer Senderi is famous for performing at big national events because most of his songs promote government programs like health care and Agaciro development fund.
