Local R&B star and winner of PGGSS2 King James trashed rumors that he uses witchcraft to gain fame.
“Some journalists spread gossip that I seek satanic powers for fame, but its God who made me who I am today,” King James told Showbiz journalists.
King James sampled the voice in his song Yababawe where he sounds like an old man to prove that he was the one singing, but not a witch doctor as it was earlier reported by some tabloids.
Since winning the PGGSS2 award, James has been topping all charts with his music and this year, four of his songs became famous on several radio stations.
The songs include Abubu, yebabawe, Ni iki utabona and Uuuulala, the song that is linked with juju powers, by many.
