The Ben releases Genocide commemoration song

The Ben

 Rwandan US based artist, The Ben has released a new single dubbed, “I can see.” The song speaks of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi and aims at strengthening families that lost relatives to the tragedy.

 “The song encourages Genocide survivors, to strive for a better future, despite the misfortune that befell them in 1994,”explains The Ben.

The Ben will sing at 20th anniversary US commemoration function.

Several Rwandan artists like Senderi created songs for the forth coming genocide commemoration period which starts on 7th, April.

On the other hand, The Ben boasts of I’m in love, Ndi Uwi I Kigali and more songs.

The Ben relocated to the US in 2010.

    Brush up your English, folks…
    “on the other hand” doesn’t make any sense at all in that sentence abouve… It is meant as being opposed to what, please? And to say “he boasts of I’m in love” is no English… it is even completely unclear what is meant by this whole sentence..
