Nigeria’s sensational singer Davido Adeleke is set to thrill Rwandese come July 4th as the country celebrates 20years of liberation.
The ‘Aye’ hit maker confirmed that he will indeed perform in Kigali live through his official twitter page on Saturday 21st June.
”Celebrating 20 Years of Liberation in Rwanda on July 4th. Muraho Rwanda! See you at the concert!” Davido posted.
July 4, 1994 is an important turning point in the history of this country as sons and daughters of Rwandan stopped the Genocide and liberated the country from a genocidal regime.
Liberation day is a moment to commemorate rebirth of the country and most importantly, it is a time to pay tribute to the heroes who sacrificed and many who paid the ultimate price to save the country and its people.
The concert will take place at Amahoro stadium in Remera on July 4th and thousands of Davido fans in Rwanda are waiting patiently to see MTV MAMA Awards 2014, artiste of the year perform live.
