Uganda’s dance hall queen and ex blue3 band girl Cindy Sanyu is set to thrill Rwandans on July 4th as the country celebrates 20 years of liberation.
The “Sample that” hit maker will sing along BET 2014 award winner Davido and many established artistes from Rwanda including rapper Jay Polly, Dream Boyz and Urban Boyz.
Cindy’s attendance was confirmed by Danny Mutembe, the Communications Manager of Umurinzi Reflection Centre Association, the organizers of the concert.
Cindy aka Cinderella Sanyu has featured in Kid Gaju’s new song dubbed Gahunda and vowed to collaborate with more Rwandan artistes to expand her fan base in the country.
She boasts of songs like Selector, Party, Sample dat and many more.
The concert is part of a concept dubbed NI WOWE, an initiative to highlight Rwanda’s exemplary leadership and in doing so; underlining Rwanda’s achievements over the last 20 years.
The aim of the concert is to get the young generation to pledge a promise that the foundation laid over the past 20 years will hold for generations to come, according to the organisers.
The concert will be free of charge and it will take place at Amahoro Stadium in Remera.
