Local RnB singer Jeanne Butera aka Knowless’ Canada show has been postponed to December due to difficulties in securing Canadian Visa.
The diva was slated to perform in Toronto, Canada on August 2nd alongside other East African music icons like Juliana.
However given the inconveniences in securing travel documents and Juliana’s tragedy of losing her son, the organizers in Canada couldn’t afford to continue with the concerts without Knowless, Dr Claude and Juliana.
Speaking to Kina music boss and Knowless’ manager Clement Ishimwe, he explained more about the postponed shows.
“We had complications in getting Canadian visa but even the organizers informed us about the changes and we agreed to continue with the concert in September,” said Ishimwe.
Clement also revealed that the changes caused some losses because Knowless missed out more than three concerts over the weekend because we had already in mind Canada’s shows in play.
The concerts have been postponed to September 27th where all artists will be available for boat cruise show in Montreal.
Diva Knowless is currently one of the most paid artists in the country, she charges Rwf500,000 fee and payment is normally done one month before the show date.
The diva hails from Kina music label which has shaped her music skills from scratch to the super expensive diva she is.
Knowless boasts of songs like Nzabampari, Ninkureka, Ca va and many more with regional music heavy weights like Chameleon.
