Former gospel artist and Tusker Project Fame contestant Patrick Nyamitali is set to record a song with Ugandan singer Julian Kanyomozi soon. Nyamitali told local media yesterday.

The former gospel singer met Juliana in 2013 when he was in Tusker Project Fame music competition in Kenya, although he was evicted early, Juliana believed in his voice and talent hence allowing him a collabo.
‘This collabo will uplift my music career to greater heights, teaming up with regional music names like Kanyomozi is vital for a better future,” he noted.
Diva Juliana Kanyomozi who is a celebrated music diva in the region is famous in Rwanda for her songs like Nabikowa, seven days and many more. She rose to fame in the 1990s as one half of the all-girl duo I-Jay, with Iryn Namubiru.
The group’s single titled Vive la Vie was a popular hit on Uganda radio stations at that time. After the duo disbanded,
If the deal works out singer Nyamitali will be back in music arena after missing in on the music scene for a long time.
In a bid to boost his career Nyamitali is planning to stage various concerts across the country. One of the best hits from Nyamitali include songs like Ishimwe, Niwe Mesiya and Uri imana.
