Organizers of Primus Guma Guma Super Star have asked fans all over the country to remain calm ahead of the final show at Kigali Serena Hotel, that is slated for 10th August 2013. Already tensions have started running high with a section of the fans citing cases of irregularities, controversy among other issues. But according to Bralirwa and East African Promoters (EAP), there should be no need to worry.
Speaking to the media, Munyoma Joseph, managing director of EAP, appealed for calm and called for fans to accept whatever the results. He said, “I am appealing for music fans all over the country to accept the results because this is a competition and as a result, there should be a winner.”
But in what seems like a self-contradictory speech, voters have already stated they smell a rat. One who spoke to rwandashow.com on condition of anonymity declared, “We know what they are trying to do. We know that they want to hand it over to Knowless, even though it’s evident that she doesn’t have enough fan base compared to the likes of Riderman.
If indeed, Knowless emerges victorious, it would be the third time a star from Kina Music has won the competition, following Tom Close and King James who won season one and two respectively.
