Singer Mani Martin has told rwandashow.com that his forthcoming concert set to take place at Kigali Serena Hotel will be “explosive”. In a short phone interview, the afro beat singer said that he has given his all to make sure those in attendance will be thrilled to the maximum. “It will be explosive believe me,” he said. “The preparations we have put into it show how committed we are for its success.”
Contrary to most Rwandan musicians, Mani Martin has decided to go for it alone, without a backup from other established stars. In the past, concerts and album launches have been flocked with a host of artistes, perhaps as a way of enticing the fans, but Mani Martin will do the exact opposite.
But the star is not worried, “Come expecting big things,” he added. The concert due to take place on 1st September will start at 6.00pm, while entrance fee will be 10,000 Rwf per head. Attendants shall also be provided with a free DVD containing videos to his latest album “My Destiny.”
