The Tusker Project Fame’s Saturday eviction show shocked Rwandans following the dropout of Phionah Mbabazi, the only country’s female songstress who had survived many evictions. Meanwhile, Patrick Nyamitari’s stay in the competition depends solely on votes from fans.
Phionah Mbabazi of Rwanda and Uganda’s Derrick Kojjo were the latest to leave with only 7 days to the end of the sixth edition of the Tusker Fame music competition, taking place in Nairobi.
Mbabazi had been improved and gained steady confidence as the completion progressed.
Patrick Nyamitari will attend the TPF grand finale along with the six remaining contestants. The winner will be awarded with a cash prize of Kshs5m (About Rwf35m).
