The nomination and distribution of the awards will be overseen by a four-member judge bench which will consist of panelists from Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya and Tanzania. And it doesn’t just end there. In collaboration with Workforce Development Authority (WDA), winners of the awards will be given special training by the institution to further enhance their acting skills.

A Thousand Hills Academy Awards brings together numerous movie houses that include Lina Films Ltd, Alnap Films Ltd, A Thousand Hills Ltd and many others. They are the second movie awards to be distributed after Rwanda Movie Awards that are annually organized by Ishusho Arts.
