After the exit of Knowless Butera in this year’s edition of Primus Guma Guma Super Star, many were wondering who would be her replacement but the doubts have been settled. Rapper Young Grace has taken her slot in the completion this completion, making it the second time she has appeared.
Knowless’ decision to quit the competition was untimely to say the least, but in a letter addressed to Bralirwa, the organizers of PGGSS, the diva explained she had other projects that were clashing with the competition’s schedule and as such could not participate.
Regardless of her explanations, rumors ran rampant that Knowless was “afraid of failure” again after she finished as second runner-up last year, and thus could not bear the pain of falling short again.
Meanwhile Young Grace’s inclusion may signal a new chapter in her music career. The tomboy is among musicians who are accused of splashing out money in form of bribe in order to gain reputation.
During season two of PGGSS, she surprised many when she escaped two elimination rounds though she later crashed out. At the time it was argued she had bribed her way in.
