Local rapper Bull Dog refuted rumors published on local websites suggesting dissatisfaction about the one million francs salary paid to him by Bralirwa as Primus Guma Guma Super Star nominee.
Earlier news via FM stations suggested Bull Dog asked Bralirwa to uplift the salary, this came after Igihe .com published a story on the issue.
The original Tuff Gangz member told Rwandashow that, the incident happened during the show in Nyamagabe but the journalist misinterpreted the message.
“I said that, the competition is good in terms of promoting music industry but the organizers should also consider time and energy used by artists in promoting Bralirwa products,” explains Bull Dog.
At first, the nominees were paid 500,000 Rwf monthly but the fee was increased to 1million.
Primus GumaGuma confirmed that Bull Dog’s statement was misinterpreted.
